Taiwan Explores Day 16- Off to Hualien

Today nothing interesting happened at work. I came to work, ate breakfast, approached the veggie washing section. However they already had more than enough people. I offered help to the lady who was putting the rice into the rice cooker. She said its okay and that I could take a rest:/ so I did. I went to sleep hahahaha.

Same old same old, I packed lunch and somehow dozed off on my table. Even missed my delivery. I guess they saw me sleeping and didn't want to disturb me. Aigoo it's just that is Friday and all the exhaustion has accumulated... So tired x.x

After helping to pack dinner, I went to taipei bus station to meet Angela:) we got our combo bus-train ticket to hualien. It's pretty awesome cuz it only costed us $290+

I felt motion sickness 5 mins after the bus started moving. So I went to sleep... The Internet connection was real bad in the bus so we couldn't watch running man as planned:/

After our bus ride to luodong train station, we were hungry and cold. So we stood at the toy machine and ate cup noodles lols. (Hungry and cold Angela eating noodles that aren't cooked yet)

Hahaha first time on Taipei railway train!

Angela and I walked all the way from the last cabin to cabin 2 and finally found our seats. The train was like shaking furiously and we swayed as we walked hahahaha.

 -Another 1hr of motion sickness -

 

Ear kept getting blocked as well... Urgg discomfort:/ after the terrible train ride, we finally reach the hualien and our hostel!

I get to sleep on the upper bulk! Hohoho I can even touch the light bulb~

Poor Angela's not suitable for upper bulk tho. Her head hits the ceiling when she stands up hahaha!

After checking in, the nice host asked us our plans. We said we want to go night market so she kindly told us the way there and even recommended us the best food to eat. That's good service:) she even taught us how to go to the taroko for our trip tomorrow. 

We got slightly lost on our way to the night market cuz the read the map the wrong way. Eventually we found our way though

The food here is good. We had the curry chicken coffin bread thing that taste real good. 

This chocolate crepe also taste soft, crispy and awesome when it's hot

The fried kebab and Sotong also good too

It was really a nice vacation~~ finally out of taipei! Haha the road became real empty at 11pm

Seeing how we haven got lost yet and that we manage to buy our train ticket without any problems, i say its really good progress! Independence here I come!

I'm off to watch running man and sleep now. Yayyy
