Taiwan Explores Day 12: Adapting well

I think I'm getting the hang of things here.  Since I understand how things flow now, I know which section I can offer help at, when it's good to just slack, when to get ready for lunchbox packing:3

Hohoho! The people are also more willing to let me do work now. Yea~

After work, I went to Ximending to eat dinner with local fun peepz (my second project). Here's some pictures:

Dinner was awesome!! It's was a buffet place with main dishes, desserts, Haagen Daz icecream etc etc with a cost of 300nt:3 Yums. We ate till uber uber full. The local fun people sure are friendly. They told me many funny stories and good places to visit at Taiwan. 

One noteworthy story was how they had this Xmas party, where ppl compete for the best gift award and be worst gift award. Some of the bad gifts were a LIVING turtle o.o and sex toys ._. LOLLLL. Another was how her friend gain 20kg (till the extent she couldn't recognize her friend) after going on a half year trip to America.

After dinner, it was raining pretty badly. I was too embarrassed to use my spoilt umbrella (especially since the wind is pretty strong) so I told them I only have a spoilt umbrella. Like incredibly nice hosts, they brought to their company nearby to grab a brolly:3 we set off to the bus stop then the rest left to their respective bus stop and mrt station, leaving me and my buddy weiting (he's really a guy). My noobz buddy brought me to the wrong bus stop. We stood there waiting and talking about random singapore stuff, until he saw 2 of my bus driving pass in a different road ._. Lol... We waited I think 10-15mins at the wrong stop.. Haha.

I finally got home. As it was the first time I'm using the key, I struggled a good 5mins with the rusty old red door:/ push pull turn clockwise anticlockwise... Push pull Somemore... Until I gave up and rang the door bell. As usual, no one heard it:/ so I struggled with the door for a few seconds more. Maybe the door took pity on me, it decided to open for me. Yayyyyy~

Of course, the day's ordeal is not over with the battle with the shower. As mentioned before, I don't have a shower head here at my homestay 

I have to fill the sink up with water and use the cup to shower.. I waited a good 5-10 mins for the hot water to come up. 

1min- cold water..

2min- sink is almost full... But still cold water 

3min- maybe I should switch it off for a while 

4min-open back up. Still cold -.-

5min- water overflowing. Use cold water to wash the toilet floor and anywhere else except my body

6min- this is so wasteful. I shall use the cold water to wash my feet. -pours- nooooo soooo coooldddd! Floor washing it is

7min- yayyyy got water!!!! Time to bathe!

8min- hot water stopped, it's cold water again:/ wear back clothesssss>.<

9min- repeat above process 

10min- yessssss finally a constant stream of hot water. Better fill up the sink with these precious hot water first!

Yea everyday. This battle. Hahhhhh I swear my fingers turned purple just now from the cold.

Tmr I'm going back to Ximending to eat yet another buffet! Hahaha steamboat version this time:3
